SOCIALIZATION OF FINAL PROJECT AND PRACTICE WORK

On Friday, March 13, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. WIB, iSTTS held a Final Assignment and Practical Work Socialization which was attended by 40 iSTTS Informatics Engineering students. The socialization held at E-402 was attended by a number of S1 Informatics Engineering lecturers including Dr. Yosi Kristian, S.Kom, M.Kom and Reddy Alexandro Harianto, S.Kom., M.Kom.

To increase the number of iSTTS graduates in the following year, Himafor (Informatics Student Association) held a TA and KP Socialization aimed at helping students who were going to take the Final Project in order to find a suitable Final Project theme or title. At the beginning of the socialization, the purpose of the Job Training was explained, namely to find work experience with many people. In addition, the Job Training is divided into 2 choices. The first is with internships (job training in companies) and the second is with problem solving (making projects related to company problems and can be done online). In addition there are several requirements for practical work. A minimum of 20 days work and practical work can be done 1-2 months before the trusteeship.

At the time of socialization, also given tips and tricks on how to graduate in a period of 3.5 years. The tips given are, students must submit the Final Project Proposal in the first period of TA collection, which is on August 15. In addition, students must meet several terms and conditions that can be seen on the sim.stts.edu website. Collecting the signatures of several lecturers is mandatory when submitting proposals.

With this socialization, it is expected that iSTTS students can understand the rules and sequence of TA collection.

Himpunan Mahasiswa Desain Komunikasi Visual ISTTS Gelar Acara Open Talk DKV Semester Genap 2024

The Visual Communication Design Student Association (DKV) of the Surabaya Integrated Science and Technology Institute (ISTTS) held an event entitled "Open Talk DKV" for the even semester of 2024. This event was held in Room E-402 at 13.00 and was attended by 33 student participants. This event, which took place in an atmosphere full of enthusiasm, presented the Chair of the DKV Student Association, Richard Jonathan as a speaker, along with lecturers who had experience and expertise in the field of visual communication design. They are Mrs. Bonifacia Bulan Aruming Tyas, S.Ds, M.A., Mr. Dr. Decky Avrilukito S.Sn., M.M., and Mrs. Amelia Agustina, S.Ds., M.Med.Kom. "Open Talk DKV" is an open discussion forum which aims to broaden the horizons of DKV ISTTS students and strengthen relationships between students and lecturers. In this event, speakers shared their experiences, knowledge and views on various aspects of visual communication design. Apart from that, participants were also given the opportunity to ask questions directly to the speakers. It is hoped that this event can be a constructive effort to improve the quality of education and learning in the field of visual communication design and strengthen ties between students and lecturers.
