SURYA.CO.ID - Anxiety and technological stuttering in distance learning (online) during the covid-19 pandemic became an interesting discussion in the webinar initiated by the Imformasi Technology S2 Program, ISTTS (Institute of Science and Integrated Technology) Surabaya, Saturday (11/7) / 2020).
More than 150 people consisting of teachers, lecturers and students from various regions in Indonesia took part in this event.
Not only discussing the picture of education in Indonesia and distance learning or distance learning (SPADA), this webinar also shares tips on creating creative content, virtual classrooms and tools and facilities that can be used by teachers for online classroom management.
This webinar presents three speakers namely Dr. Ir. Franscisca Haryanti, Dr. Ir. Endang Setyati, M.T, as well as an ISTTS Information Technology S2 alumni who also became the National Champion of outstanding SMK Teachers, Amiroh, S.Kom. M.Kom and moderated by hilarious moderator Jonie Hermanto S.Kom, MCSA, MCDBA.
Franscisca Haryanti thoroughly explores independent learning, flipped classroom, problems, what is needed and must be mastered in online learning, issues of access as well as student culture.
Also presented tricks so that students do not get bored in online learning.
Participants were also introduced to the Kahoot and Quizizz programs as an appreciation of student achievement and motivation.
"Because this motivation is one of the problems that often occurs in online learning," Franscisca said
While Endang Setyati, explores SPADA, millennial character, 7 tips on creating creative content with examples and Working from Home guidelines.
In addition, it was also explained about PDCA in Online Learning (Plan, Do, Check & Act).
Endang also discussed how to prepare and create a virtual class, its execution, how to interact, learning engagement tips, how to evaluate and evaluate it as well as archiving and documenting it.
The originality factor of online learning content is an emphasis in this discussion.
No less exciting, Amiroh shared his experience in online learning and Office 365 tools that can be obtained free of charge for learning and features that can be used by teachers for the needs of virtual classroom management.
Explained at length about Forms, Teams, and Class Notebooks. It is said with Teams can do virtual face-to-face, share learning material, discuss with students, document in the form of recordings and many others.
"Giving assignments, formative and summative tests can be done with Form so that it makes it easier for teachers not to trouble themselves with correction because the results are immediately available and can be obtained also in the form of excels," he said.
In addition, according to him Class Notebook also supports teachers in classroom management.
The discussion flowed casually with laughter from the moderator and the interaction and enthusiasm of the participants to make the webinar even more interesting.
The excitement grew when participants who accessed both zoom and youtube were invited to play the Kahoot game with prizes.
